Description
This S100A range contains FIRST LIFE cells.
NB – Please ensure you can set your inverter CUT OFF voltage to 11.2V, else the BMS will cut off and the battery will go dead (and will need to be jumped).
You can only use this battery in the Mecer 1200VA/2400VA type inverters bought AFTER March 2023.
We recommend using this battery ONLY with an inverter that is able to set cut off to 11V or more.
*Please use a battery load balancer when connecting 2 batteries in series.
*Connecting 2 batteries in series WITHOUT a battery load balancer will void the warranty*
Please note the bulk, float and cut-off voltages to be set for these batteries:
- Bulk:14V
- Float: 13.6V
- Cut-off: 11.2V

The S-100A has a 2 year / 3500 cycle warranty.
The S-100A has a integrated BMS inside the battery container, which also contain the prismatic lithium cells.
The S-100A can be connected up to 4 times in series maximum. You can configure the batteries in 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V in series.
You can run a maximum of 4 x S-100 units in series (48VDC) and 4 strings in parallel for a total of 16 batteries in one battery bank. Ensure that current for charge and discharge is limited to 100A for the complete bank no matter how many batteries are used.
